Our Impact and Learning
We measure what changes, not only what was delivered
We do not only ask participants whether they enjoyed the experience. We follow safety, belonging, confidence, and how skills are used in life, study, and work.
Khayari in numbers since founding
Numbers connected to learning and accountability
About 100young Palestinian women have participated in Khayari programs
7training cohorts
4.71/5average safety and belonging in the latest comparable data
317evaluation responses that have informed program development
How were these numbers calculated?
The 317 figure is the total of response records across several evaluation tools. One woman may complete more than one evaluation at different stages, so it does not represent 317 unique participants. The 4.71 out of 5 figure is the final comparable safety-and-belonging score in the latest comparable data.
How we measure and learn
We connect numbers with participant experience
- We review registration forms and opening questions to understand needs and expectations.
- We collect end-of-program and selected session evaluations.
- We use focus groups and qualitative feedback to understand what the numbers show and what they do not.
- We view continued participation, volunteering, and mentoring as signs of belonging and an ongoing pathway.
- We review findings to adjust content, facilitation, partnerships, and future opportunities.

A voice from the Khayari community
From training to participation
“Khayari strengthened my self-confidence. I did not have the social skills or the knowledge of how to work within a group.”Leah, Lead Forward participant, volunteer, and active member of the Khayari community.
